My name is Ethan Burham, I was born in Lincoln Nebraska July 10th 1991. I grew up with photography being a major part of my life. Watching my Grandparents and my Mother snap pictures with their film cameras gave me an interest at an early age. In 2006 when I was 15 years old I worked hard and saved up enough money to buy my first camera. I took thousands of pictures and filmed most of my little brother's first hunts (mainly squirrels and rabbits at that time) in late 2018 I fell more in love with photography than ever before. I purchased one of my first professional camera bodies, A Canon R7 and 24-240.
After a few years using that Camera I realized I wanted to make a career with my camera. I sold that camera and purchased a Canon R5 and upgraded my equipment every chance I got. At this point I'm using Canon's most professional L series lenses (RF 400mm 2.8, RF100-500mm and RF 24-105 2.8 are my main lenses. I use a Canon R6 iii as my main film body and Canon R5 is my photocentric body)
Filming adventures, taking photos and chasing the adrenaline of "The perfect shot" pushed me to upgrade equipment constantly (Drones, Lenses, Camera Bodies, Hard Drives, Laptops)
in 2023 I started a LLC named Poorman Media - "Poorman" due to the fact that at the time, I was spending my last dollars chasing my dreams, hoping that one day it would pay off.
Since then I've had the opportunity to be hired to document some amazing adventures and hunts. Including filming in Alaska, South Africa, Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas, Illinois, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Oregon, Montana, Colorado, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and many more amazing places.
My love for bowhunting and photography has lent me to getting comfortable with spot and stalking, sharing 13 hour treestand sits with clients/friends as well as 5-10 day backpacking trips into the backcountry. When I'm not filming for clients I'm usually filming for one of my own Archery tags.
Showing off God's nature and wonderful handy work is always my main goal. Wildlife has always been my favorite subject, but landscapes and some wedding/portrait work has also snuck itself into my portfolio over the years.
In my galleries you will find photos of Whitetail Deer, Wild Turkeys, Antelope, Humpback Whales, African animals, Snapping turtles, Bugs and Insects, Breathtaking Landscapes, Interesting Geographic features, close ups on wildlife and much much more. I'm constantly adding new photos daily to my portfolio. Some of my footage has been featured on The Outdoor Channel as well as viewed by millions of people on Youtube, Instagram, and Tiktok.
